Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area Report

May 17. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 55°F and clear.

Trout, Rainbow Good on caddis flies, crickets, PowerBait, tube jigs, worms around below the dam, channels, spillway.

Comments: Fishing has been good this week. Trapper are biting on live shad. Biting near washita point and platter Flats areas. Catfish are biting near ledges and river channels. Crappie are biting near brush in coves and around docks.
