19: Central Oklahoma Quail Forever, in partnership with The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, is hosting their 1st Annual WhistlerFest on July 19, 2014.
The objective is to introduce youth to various outdoor activities in a safe and fun environment and is open to both boys and girls ages 5 to 18.
Instruction on fishing and archery will be conducted by ODWC. There will also be hands-on activity stations including hiking and nature photography, wildlife identification, wildflowers and their pollinators, and hunting dog demonstrations.
The event will take place at The Arcadia Conservation Education Area on Saturday, July 19 starting at 9:00 am and concludes at 3:00 pm. Lunch is being provided by Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q. Due to the generosity of our sponsors, there is no charge; however, pre-registration is required and will open July 1. Please register on our website at http://www.centralokquailforever.org.
