Hunters must be 15 years old or
younger on the first day of the hunt, except on McAlester AAP, Salt
Plains NWR, and USDA Grazinglands Research Lab hunters must be 12-15
years of age. Proof of age is required at check-in. All
participants are required to be accompanied by an adult non-hunting
partner. One applicant only; NO GROUP APPLICATIONS. Applicants may
apply using an apprentice-designated license. However, they must be
hunter education certified prior to participating in the deer hunt
OR they must be accompanied by an adult non-hunting partner 21 years
old or older who possesses a certificate of hunter education or is
exempt from either hunter education requirements or license
requirements. Up to three hunt choices may be selected. Applicants
must report to area headquarters at times specified below.

Non-hunting partner should not apply for this category and
does not need a hunting license.

Sequoyah Resort Park hunters will be charged a $30 state park
user fee collected at the check-in in addition to applicable permit
and license fees.

All handguns are prohibited on Tishomingo NWR. |
