Improve Your Odds!

The following tips can increase your odds of being drawn for a hunt.

1. Select hunts that take place during the regular statewide muzzleloader and gun seasons (hunts on the opening weekends of these seasons usually offer better odds of being drawn).

2. Buck-only and either-sex hunts are more difficult to be drawn for than antlerless-only hunts.

3. Make as many selections as each category allows. This increases your overall odds of being selected for at least one of your choices.

4. For locations that offer multiple hunts in the same category, the second or third hunts (the hunts held later in the year) often offer better odds of being drawn than the first hunts offered at that location.
