Chandler Lake was constructed in 1954 by the City of Chandler. Chandler lake has generally been a quality fishery for Largemouth Bass and Channel Catfish, however, declining aquatic vegetation and increased Channel Catfish numbers have created new challenges. Channel Catfish harvest is encouraged.
Fish attractors are maintained to help increase angler success.

Apr 14. Elevation is 6 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 59°F and stained.
Bass, Largemouth Slow on buzz baits, crankbaits, plastic baits, small lures, spinnerbaits, topwater lures around brush structure, rocks, shallows, shorelines.
Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Good on jigs, small lures around dam, docks, rocks.
Catfish, Channel Good on worms around dam, docks.
