Chandler Lake was constructed in 1954 by the City of Chandler. Chandler lake has generally been a quality fishery for Largemouth Bass and Channel Catfish, however, declining aquatic vegetation and increased Channel Catfish numbers have created new challenges. Channel Catfish harvest is encouraged.
Fish attractors are maintained to help increase angler success.

May 5. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 69°F and murky.
Bass, Largemouth Fair on buzz baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, spinnerbaits around brush structure, dam, rocks, shallows.
Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure, docks.
Catfish, Channel Fair around brush structure, shallows.
