Ruderal Mixed Deciduous – Eastern Redcedar Woodland

               Area: 64,456 acres (26,085 ha)

               Description of Mapped Type: This type is mapped on prairie soils across much of the state, and
               consists of relatively dense woodlands where eastern redcedar is a significant component.
               Common woody components vary by region, and may include hackberry species, winged elm,
               other elm species, green ash, other ash species, honeylocust, black locust, western soapberry,
               lotebush, post oak, and Osage orange.
