Southeastern Great Plains: Bottomland Herbaceous Wetland

               Area: 6,256 acres (2,532 ha)
               Description of Mapped Type:  This type is mapped on bottomland soils across a variety of
               hydrologic regimes and may circumscribe a variety of herbaceous wetlands.  Common
               components include sedge and rush species, spikerush species, cattails, smartweeds, and
               moist-soil grasses.
