Walleye are stocked and brush piles are put into the lake for fish habitat.

Easy access to the water's edge is available in many of the public-use areas. The concrete walk along the spillway is also accessible.

Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel, Catfish, Flathead Excellent on crawfish, cut bait, live bait, live shad, shad, sunfish, worms around flats, river channel, river mouth, shallows, shorelines.

Bass, Striped Hybrid, Bass, White Good on crankbaits, grubs, jigs, minnows, sassy shad, shad, tube jigs around below the dam, tailwater.

Paddlefish Slow on snagging around below the dam.
