Fishing Report

We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted. If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.

Weather conditions have dropped the water temperature. Fishing still varies day-to-day. Hybrids have been good up to this point near the spillway and the dam off the riprap. At one point this week, they were biting on anything you could throw at them. Black bass have also been fair in the main part of the lake on crankbaits. Temperature should climb this week with sunny skies in the forecast until Sunday.

Action: Fair
Baits:  Chicken Liver, Minnows, Shrimp, Worms
Locations: Coves, Shallows
Additional Information:
Weather conditions have dropped the water temperature. Fishing still varies day-to-day. Hybrids have been good up to this point near the spillway and the dam off the riprap. At one point this week, they were biting on anything you could throw at them. Black bass have also been fair in the main part of the lake on crankbaits. Temperature should climb this week with sunny skies in the forecast until Sunday.
