High Plains: Bottomland Herbaceous Wetland

               Area: 121,055 acres (48,990 ha)
               Description of Mapped:   This type in the modern landscape consists primarily of grazed
               pastures dominated by non-native or grazing-tolerant species.  Typical components include field
               brome, Bermudagrass, prairie broomweed, western ragweed, cheatgrass, little barley, silver
               bluestem, grama species, buffalograss, and little bluestem.
