General Distribution:
Mississippi River drainage, St. Lawrence, Great Lakes and Gulf of Mexico
drainages from northern Mexico through Alabama. Commonly introduced into reservoirs

Oklahoma Distribution:
This species is found throughout the state in most rivers and reservoirs.
