General Distribution:
                          Mississippi River drainage and Great Lakes region.
                   Oklahoma Distribution:
                          Found generally in the Arkansas River drainage system of northeastern
                   Oklahoma.  Subfossil records indicate that the species occurred in the Washita River in
                   the past.

                     Lake Hulah:
                          Osage County:  Near E end of dam, S1-T28N-R11E;  S10-T28N-R11E.
                     Little Caney River:
                          Washington County:  2.1 mi. NW of Copan.
                     Sand Creek:
                          Osage County:  Osage Hills St. Pk.
                     Verdigris River:
                          Nowata County:  2.8 mi. E of Lenapah, St. Hwy. 10;  4 mi. N Childers, Hancock
