Fishing Reports

We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted. If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.

Comments: White Bass fishing is excellent below the dam! Seems like spoons have worked the best. Fish slower pockets of water. Slower water below the dam has been good for crappie as well. Try to get your jig or minnow as close to the bottom as possible. Paddlefish is still good up near lowwater but anglers are having a tougher time catching them below the dam. Catfish bite is still hot with flooded coves doing well. Flatheads are starting to be caught below the dam as well on live shad and sunfish.
