Anthony Mackey and Aaron Milligan decided in 2014 to try to harvest an example of each bird that is listed on the federal Harvest Information Program permit.
They called it their HIP quest, and they finally claimed success in 2018. They are holding mounts of a Wilson’s snipe, sora rail and common gallinule.
