If I can’t attend my controlled hunt, do I get my preference points back?
You will retain your preference points if you chose to buy the PointGuard insurance policy during the application
period. You can claim your PointGuard insurance anytime before the day of your hunt. If you didn’t buy PointGuard,
your preference points for that hunt category will be lost whether you attend the hunt or not.
