The Arcadia Conservation Education Area is a unique management area for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. With a focus on education, and providing outdoor educational opportunities for the public and schools, the area is open by walk-in access from Jan. 16 – Sept. 30.

The area currently has a ¾ mile self-guided walking trail that provides educational information on Oklahoma’s wildlife and habitat.

Schools looking for an outdoor education area to conduct outdoor classroom activities can gain access to the area by contacting the area manager (405) 200-8491 to reserve the Outdoor Education Building, Pond, Wetland or Trail.

All hunting seasons are closed, except through controlled archery deer hunts offered by the City of Edmond, for more information call (405) 216-7481 or visit their website.

Walk-in fishing allowed year-round in Arcadia Lake, but not any ponds.
