Fishing Reports

We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted. If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.

Comments: White Bass are starting to be caught in the creeks. A little more flow this week should really get them going. Crappie are starting to move shallower as well with some fish being caught in 5-10 feet of water off of structure, seem to be getting some bites in the creeks as well. Black Bass bite is still tougher, starting to see better luck with spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Paddlefish are starting to run up the river. Reminder no off-roading on the public property around the lake.
