Fishing Report Timing
We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round, but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted.
If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time, you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.
Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area Report
Oct 2. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 68°F and clear.
Rainbow Trout Good on tube jigs, worms around below the dam, creek channels, spillway.

McGee Creek Report
Oct 2. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal (rising), water temperature 80°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level)
Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass Fair on Alabama rig, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, minnows, plastic baits, other around brush structure, shallows, shorelines.
Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish Good on chicken liver, cut bait, live bait, worms around channels, creek channels, main lake, rocks.

Broken Bow Lake Report
Oct 2. Elevation is 9.5 ft. below normal (falling), water temperature 84°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level)
Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass Good on Alabama rig, crankbaits, crawfish, topwater lures, worms around coves, points.
Black Crappie, White Crappie Good on jigs around brush structure, creek channels, standing timber.
Channel Catfish Fair on cut bait, stinkbait, worms around creek channels.

Pine Creek Lake Report

Largemouth Bass Slow on jerk baits, spinnerbaits around coves, main lake.
White Crappie Slow on jigs, minnows.

Wister Lake Report
Oct 2. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 85°F and stained. (USACE Current Lake Level)
Channel Catfish Good on chicken liver, grass hoppers around flats.
White Crappie Good on jigs, minnows around brush structure.
Largemouth Bass Good on bill baits, buzz baits around brush structure, channels, creek channels.

Keystone Lake Report
Sep 28. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 74°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level)
Black Crappie, White Crappie Fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure.
Blue Catfish Good on cut bait, live bait, live shad around below the dam, main lake.
Largemouth Bass Good on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, live bait, minnows, plastic baits around brush structure, docks, main lake.

Texoma Report
Sep 27. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 82°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level)
Striped Bass Good on live shad, sassy shad, slabs, topwater lures around channels, points.
Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish Fair on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait around below the dam, coves, river mouth.
Black Crappie, White Crappie Fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, standing timber.
Comments: Fishing this week has been about the same as last week.Striper continue to bite on live shad and top water lures. Fall fishing is looking good. Catfish are biting on cut bait and punch bait around baited holes and cleaning stations. Crappie are biting on jigs and hair jigs around brush piles in open water. And around docks with brush piles.
