Grand Lake Report

Sep 6. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 87°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level)

Bass, Largemouth Fair on crankbaits, plastic baits around brush structure, docks, shorelines.

Bass, White Slow on in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, spoons around below the dam, brush structure, main lake, points.

Catfish, Blue Fair on chicken liver, cut bait, shad around below the dam, docks, main lake.

Keystone Lake Report

Sep 6. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 80°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level)

Bass, Largemouth Good on plastic baits around brush structure, docks.

Catfish, Blue Good on cut bait, live bait, live shad around below the dam, main lake.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure, docks, main lake.

Lower Illinois River PFHA Report

Sep 4. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 74°F and clear.

Trout, Rainbow Slow on caddis flies, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures, spoons around below the dam, shallows, shorelines.

Comments: Fishing is slow due to warmer water temperatures and very low oxygen levels in river
