Blue River PFHA Report

Aug 18. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 80°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level)

Bass, Largemouth, Bass, Smallmouth, Bass, Spotted Good on crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits, jigs, lipless baits, spinnerbaits, tube jigs around brush structure, channels, coves, creek channels, river channel, rocks, shallows, shorelines, weed beds.

Catfish, Channel Fair on chicken liver, worms around brush structure, channels, rocks.

Konawa Report

Aug 16. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 92°F and clear.

Bass, Largemouth Good on crankbaits, plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, weed beds.

Bass, Striped Hybrid, Bass, White Good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, live shad around coves, inlet, main lake, river channel.

Catfish, Channel Good on chicken liver, cut bait around inlet, riprap, rocks, weed beds.

Texoma Report

Aug 16. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 85°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level)

Bass, Striped Fair on live shad, sassy shad, slabs around channels, main lake, points, river channel.

Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel, Catfish, Flathead Fair on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait around below the dam, docks, river channel, river mouth.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, rocks, standing timber.

Comments: Fishing this week has been okay. Striper are being caught on live shad and trolling sassy shad. They are being caught in between the Roosevelt and railroad bridge. As well as near Washita point and the islands. Catfish are being caught near baited holes, and cleaning stations with punch bait and cut bait. Crappie are being caught around Bridges with brush and round dock with the brush piles.

Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area Report

Aug 14. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 68°F and clear.

Trout, Rainbow Good on crickets, grass hoppers, tube jigs, worms around below the dam, creek channels, river channel, spillway.
