Walleye are stocked and brush piles are put into the lake for fish habitat.
Easy access to the water's edge is available in many of the public-use areas. The concrete walk along the spillway is also accessible.

Catfish, Blue Slow on cut bait around main lake.
Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Slow on jigs, minnows around brush structure, standing timber.
Bass, Striped Hybrid, Bass, White Slow on jerk baits, jigs, sassy shad around below the dam.
