Many groups, organizations, businesses and individuals have become invaluable partners in conserving Oklahoma's tremendous natural resources. The following are some of the contributions made to wildlife management in Oklahoma during the past year ($5,000 or more) through donations to the Wildlife Department.

The North Fork Chapter of Quail Forever/Pheasants Forever donated a grain drill valued at $11,500 to be used for planting food plots and other sowings on WMAs in Oklahoma's Southwest region. Matching funds will be used for two fire skid units and other items for prescribed burnings.

Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation $16,000.00

The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation donated $16,000 for Commissioner tag auction items and at the 2025 OWCF Gala. The Foundation is the non-profit organization formed to work exclusively alongside and provide support for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC).

City of Eufaula $12,000.00

The City of Eufaula donated for the purpose of conservation efforts at Eufaula Lake.

BRG Energy Inc and ZZ Energy Ventures $6,000.00

BRG Energy Inc and ZZ Energy Ventures donated for road improvement work at James Collins WMA.

Kenny Beale $5,000.00

Kenny Beale donated to fish habitat improvement at Lake Eufaula.

National Rifle Assocation $25,000.00

Through the years the National Rifle Association has been a significant supporter of the Wildlife Department an Oklahoma conservation, including recently supporting the work at the Copan WMA Shooting Range.

Southstone, LLC $5,000.00

Southstone, LLC generously donated to support the stocking of F1 (Tiger) bass in Grand Lake.

 

City of Grove $10,000.00

The City of Grove generously donated to support the stocking of F1 (Tiger) Bass in Grand Lake.

Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation $307,126.00

The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation is the non-profit organization formed to work exclusively alongside and provide support for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC). Some recent projects supported include the agency's outdoor education programs, the Stars and Stripes project, OLAP, the Close to Home Fishing Program, the Hunters Against Hunger program and the Lexington WMA shooting range.

Quail Forever $14,447.00

Various chapters of Quail Forever have supported the ODWC, such as the Oklahoma 89er, Plainsmen,  North Fork, and Deep Fork Canadian chapters, for causes like prescribed burning and the purchase of equipment used on WMAs in Oklahoma.

National Wild Turkey Federation $79,500.00

The National Wild Turkey Federation is a supporter of a number of ODWC projects such as the Oklahoma National Archery in the Schools Program, Polecat Creek Restoration, Canton WMA, Black Kettle WMA, and more. NWTF also donated $2750 to help restore stream riparian habitat on Beaver WMA and to remove invasive cedar at Lexington WMA as part of the Waterways for Wildlife initiative.

National Rifle Association $25,000.00

This public range grant fund donation was provided by the National Rifle Association for the development of the Optima Wildlife Management Area shooting range.

Blue River Fly Fishers $5,000.00

Blue River Fly Fishers donated in support of the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.
