Guided Youth Waterfowl Hunts

Waterfowl hunting can be daunting, especially to a beginner. The gear, the setup, the regulations, and so many things to try to figure out that some people give up without even trying. But the ODWC provides young new waterfowl hunters a unique opportunity to participate in special guided waterfowl hunts that will take place around the state, all you need is yourself and an accompanying adult. These guided hunts offer the opportunity to experience the joys of waterfowling to youths who do not have a mentor who hunts waterfowl.

Applicants must be 12 to 15 years of age, have proof of successfully completing a certified hunter education course, and have an adult guardian who can accompany them on the hunt. Locations for this year's hunts will be at Packsaddle, Fort Cobb State Park, Fort Gibson Lake, Hackberry Flat WMA, Keystone Lake, and Vann's Lake. The application deadline is November 3, 2024.

When submissions are open the submission form will appear below. For questions about the form below or hunt contact Jason Rockwell at (405) 406-2675 or jason.rockwell@odwc.ok.gov
