Youth Opportunities

Youth looking to get involved with the outdoors have a wide range of opportunities to participate in.

Special Youth Seasons

Youth hunting seasons offer youth the chance to participate in a youth-only season.  Currently, Oklahoma offers a youth spring turkey, deer gun, and waterfowl season.  Be sure to consult the current regulations for additional information and dates.

Youth Hunting Opportunities

Outside of special youth seasons, youth also have access to some unique opportunities through private lands turkeyantlerless deer, guided waterfowl, and controlled hunts.   Opportunities may also be available through Outdoor Oklahoma Adventures and the Oklahoma Youth Hunting Program.

Youth Shooting Sports

The Oklahoma National Archery in the Schools Program, Oklahoma Scholastic Shooting Sports Program, and FFA Clay Target Program offer youth at participating schools to become involved with shooting sports.

Youth Fishing

Youth looking to be involved with fishing may be interested in participating in a fishing clinic.  Many schools are also involved with the Oklahoma Fishing in the Schools Program and high school students may be interested in the Oklahoma High School Bass Fishing.
