Lake Dahlgren is located on Lexington Wildlife Management Area in Cleveland County 9 miles southeast of Noble and 11 miles northeast of Lexington (S21&28, T7N, R1E). Vegetation around the lake is postoak-blackjack forest type.

The lake has no picnic or camping facilities, no latrines, and no water well.  The lake was renovated from 2016 -2019 with a new boat ramp and fishing piers. There is also one handicap-accessible parking spot. Picnic and fishing supplies can be obtained at Noble, Slaughterville, and Lexington. The predominant sportfish species are largemouth bass, sunfish, and channel catfish.

Lake Dahlgren was constructed by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation in 1953.

Daily/Size Limits:

Channel and/or blue catfish: six combined per day.

Methods:

Allowed methods: up to two rods and reels per person, bowfishing.
